The Role:
The Enrolled Nurse provides direct resident/patient centred nursing care to assigned residents/patients, within the
scope of practice of an enrolled nurse and under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse/midwife to
achieve planned patient outcomes.

Contribute to the development of patient/client nursing care plans, the evaluation of care and healthcare
information in collaboration with the registered nurse/midwife.
- Assist in the collection of comprehensive clinical data from the patient/client and/or family.

Deliver evidenced based care in accordance with the nursing care plan under the direction and supervision
of the registered nurse/midwife.
You will need:

Sound knowledge of the principles of nursing care, procedures and practices.

Ability to work collaboratively as member of a of a multidisciplinary team.

Demonstrated ability to practice in a manner that respects the right of individuals.

Beaconsfield District Health Service:
Beaconsfield District Health Service is a small rural hospital with 22 beds, a combination of aged care and sub-acute beds. We have a local GP practice that provides care to our residents and sub-acute patients, with a safe staffing model of care. We also have Community Nursing, Physio, and Social Work onsite.
Our teams work effectively together with a focus on delivering excellence in healthcare to provide improved outcomes for our consumers, our workforce and the local community.

Details of appointment:
Permanent part time, shift worker (fully rotational) position, working up to 48 hours per fortnight, commencing from 5 January 2025
*Notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.
Salary: $68,913 to $75,902 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
- Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmanian State Service) Agreement 2023 and Nurses and Midwives (Tasmanian State Service) Interim Agreement 2013
Allowances:
You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:
- Post Graduate Allowance of up to 7.5% based on qualification type
- Remote and Rural Professional Development Allowance of an additional salary allowance of 4%
