The Role:
- Ensure the delivery of a comprehensive clinical service through relevant assessment, recovery focused case management and other recovery or trauma informed services, including specialised therapies for clients and their families or carers.
- Coordinate the delivery of client care with multiple other support services including Residential Aged Care Facilities, Dementia Services Australia, General Practitioners, Community Older Persons Mental Health Team and Access Mental Health service in accordance with clinical standards, best practice principles and within a collaborative multidisciplinary framework.
- Actively participate as a member of a multidisciplinary team including the provisions of support and consultation to other team members as required.

This position is based within the Older Persons Community Mental Health Services North, an area dedicated to enhancing the health and wellbeing of patients, clients, and the broader Tasmanian community through a sustainable, high-quality, and safe health system. Details of appointment:
Fixed term, full time, day worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible until 2 August 2025.
*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.
Salary:
$106,966 to $123,013 per annum + our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
- Salary range is in accordance with Allied Health Professionals Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement No.2 of 2022

- Please note that access to salaries beyond $115,573 is subject to qualifications and/or application to the personal upgrade scheme

Eligibility:
Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria.
- Satisfactory completion of an approved allied health professional tertiary qualification/program of study and registered with the relevant National Board or, in the case of self-regulated allied health professions, full membership/eligible for membership with the relevant professional association
- Registration to Work with Vulnerable People
Applicants should note, the following are desirable:
- Current Driver’s Licence
- Post graduate experience in mental health in relation to OPMHS
