Job description:
As a member of the Human Resources (HR) Senior Leadership Group, provide authoritative generalist HR consultancy and advisory services on complex people matters across the Department.
The Deputy Director undertakes specialist projects to support the Agency Executive. These are novel and complex people issues that require tact, high level negotiation skills and subject matter expertise.
The Deputy Director works as a conduit between Agency Outputs and entities covered by Service Level Agreements, and the broader HR team to ensure that the Agency delivers an effective people service.
The Deputy Director provides consultancy and advisory services to Departmental managers and takes a lead role in coaching, advising, and facilitating effective delivery and implementation of HR strategy, policy, and frameworks.
