The Team

The Attainment team, provides attainment support to improve consistency of practice in:

• providing a sustainable 2-year program of learning in years 11 and 12
• ensuring pathways are accessible beyond individual schools
• ensuring each young person enrolled in years 11 and 12 is making progress towards completion of their senior secondary certificate
• implementing relevant senior secondary requirements for literacy and numeracy.

About the Role

Within this context the Principal Program Officer will oversee program delivery supporting Senior Secondary Curriculum and Attainment. The incumbent will undertake workflow monitoring and tracking, through research and analysis to ensure the successful implementation and review of business unit projects and priorities in alignment with broader objectives. The role will have a continuous improvement focus and will facilitate change and improvement initiatives, together with the development and provision of strategic advice to support improved outcomes for children, young people, and their families in Tasmania.
