About the Role
The Assistant Manager Budget Resourcing and Operations is responsible for leading the management and delivery of the school resourcing allocations and providing operational support for children and youth services. This role ensures that resource allocation processes are responsive, equitable, and client-focused, supporting the department’s strategic objectives. The position plays a key role in overseeing the administration of budget resourcing systems and processes for Schools and Children and Youth Services, ensuring alignment with broader departmental systems and processes to maintain financial accuracy, transparency, and data integrity.
In addition, the role provides high-level budget and resourcing advice to support key departmental initiatives and stakeholders. It leads and supervises the Budget Resourcing and Operations team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. Additionally, the occupant contributes to the development and implementation of financial strategies, policies, and standards, and undertakes complex analysis to identify opportunities for system and service improvement.
