Job description:

Make a difference in the community by providing assistance to teacher(s) whilst supporting students with high and/or additional needs.

About the Role

Provide assistance to the teacher(s) by assisting with the supervision and learning of students. Provide support and assistance to students with high and/or additional needs including but not limited to students with physical and/or intellectual disabilities and students with behavioural issues.

Period of Appointment

ASAP until 19 December 2025

Applicants should be aware that for twelve (12) months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill any subsequent full-time or part-time vacancies in accordance with Employment Direction 1.

Hours per fortnight

55 hours per fortnight

Essential Requirements

  • Current Tasmanian Registration to Work with Vulnerable People (Registration Status – Employment)

Desirable Requirements

  • College or TAFE studies in health and/or education support.
