Job description:

The Project Manager of the EDI Renewal Project will lead a small project team to plan, develop and implement a renewed EDI system. The project will review the existing EDI system and its content in in line with current DECYP user requirements in order to improve the users experience. The Project Manager will undertake work that is consistent with components of the technical roadmap, implementing solutions in line existing frameworks and Information Technology policies.

This is a Department built entirely for children and young people and their communities.  Our ultimate goal is to work together to ensure that every child and young person in Tasmania is known, safe, well and learning.

Duties

The Project Manager of the EDI Renewal Project will lead a small project team to plan, develop and implement a renewed EDI system. The project will review the existing EDI system and its content in in line with current DECYP user requirements in order to improve the user's experience. The Project Manager will undertake work that is consistent with components of the technical roadmap, implementing solutions in line existing frameworks and Information Technology policies.

Period of Appointment

ASAP for 12 months

Applicants should be aware that for twelve (12) months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill any subsequent full-time or part-time vacancies in accordance with Employment Direction 1.

Hours per fortnight

Up to 73.5 hours per fortnight

Essential Requirements

  • Current Tasmanian Registration to Work with Vulnerable People (Registration Status – Employment)

Desirable Requirements

  • A Degree or tertiary qualification or equivalent in a relevant discipline is desirable
