Join NRE Tas’s fast-paced and collaborative media team managing proactive and reactive media for Tasmania’s natural values and cultural assets

About the role
We are seeking a strategic communications professional who provides trusted advice, values collaboration, and delivers results through strong relationships.
As a Senior Communications Consultant, you will undertake a range of duties, including drafting and managing approvals for media releases; coordinating media and event planning; responding to media enquiries; and developing internal news stories and social media content.
The successful applicant will also provide strategic communications advice to business units and lead the development, review, and delivery of communications plans to reach diverse audiences across multiple channels.

Hours per fortnight
73.50 hours per fortnight (minimum 58.80 hours, by negotiation).
Period of appointment
Until 7 June 2027.
