About the role
As Digital Systems and Data Specialist you will lead the digital transformation across the Waste and Resource Recovery Business Unit. You’ll design, build and continuously improve modern digital systems, reporting and automation that underpin Tasmania’s Waste Data Strategy.
Working within the Business Improvement, Data and Systems Branch, you’ll partner closely with operational teams and ICT to modernise how data is collected, managed and used. Leveraging Microsoft Power Platform and other Microsoft products, you’ll streamline workflows, improve data integrity and deliver transparent, future‑ready systems that support evidence‑based decision‑making at all levels, including senior leaders, the Board and the Minister.
This is a hands‑on specialist role with real impact, combining solution design, data analytics, stakeholder engagement and capability building.
