About the role
The Visitor Services Officer at Cradle Mountain will assist the day-to-day operations of the Visitor Centre and contribute to delivering essential frontline services by:
- Overseeing Overland Track and Waldheim Cabins bookings.
- Providing information to visitors regarding recreational activities, safety considerations, Leave No Trace principles, and natural and cultural values.
- Balancing and reconciling monies collected through sales and entry fees, ensuring adherence to policy and procedures.
- Providing logistical support and assistance in the event of emergencies and other critical incidents.
