Job description:
Join NRE Tas in a rewarding role leading WHS efforts to support a large, diverse, and complex organisation with approximately 50% field-based staff.

About the role
As Manager, Safety and Wellbeing, you’ll provide high level strategic leadership and work collaboratively across the department to enable NRE Tas to achieve its safety, and wellbeing goals.
- Lead, manage, and provide direction to the Safety and Wellbeing team (a team of 9, with 6 direct reports).
- Ensure workers’ compensation claims are minimised and injured workers are appropriately supported.
- Lead the development and implementation of the next stage in the Safety and Wellbeing Improvement Plan.
- Provide high level subject matter advice regarding best practice health and safety management systems and processes, legislative, and regulatory requirements and emerging safety issues.
This is a permanent position.

Hours per fortnight
73.50 hours per fortnight (minimum 58.80 hours, by negotiation).
