Job description:
Contribute to the Court by providing accurate and timely transcription of court proceedings and to assist the Coordinator Transcribing Services in the delivery of transcribing services to the judiciary and stakeholders.

Hours per fortnight
73.50 hours per fortnight - flexible options available.
Duties
- Assist the Coordinator Transcribing Services in:
- The manipulation, monitoring and archiving of the in-court digital recording system
- Training of new transcription typist staff and associates
- Provision of transcribing services to outside organisations including assisting with negotiating timeframes and costs.
- The production of completed transcripts through merging transcription segments.
- Undertaking quality assurance processes of Transcription staff outputs.
- Produce accurate and timely transcription services including transcribing records of criminal and civil court procedures.
- The incumbent can expect to be allocated duties, not specifically mentioned in this document, that are within the capacity, qualifications, and experience normally expected from persons occupying jobs at this classification level.
Desirable Requirements
- Typing speed of 80 words per minute.
- Experience in supervising staff in an office environment
