Job description:

Play a key role in the successful implementation of Tourism Tasmania’s digital experience strategy.

We are looking for an experienced Digital Coordinator to play a key role in the successful implementation of Tourism Tasmania’s digital experience strategy. You will help us nurture potential travellers to Tasmania through our digital ecosystem in a connected and meaningful way.

Our team is charged with creating a digital experience that is an expression of our brand, functional and inspiring. You’ll work collaboratively with the digital team to implement, measure, analyse and report on digital programs that meet objectives, and deliver value to our customers and the tourism industry.

As an organisation we strive to be contemporary and brave and support the ongoing learning and development through investment in our people. If you thrive working in an environment where innovation is embraced and creativity is encouraged; if you live and breathe all things digital and you are a keen team player, we’d love to hear from you.

What you'll be responsible for

Contributing to a connected and meaningful digital experience through the delivery of our product roadmap and marketing initiatives. You’ll work closely with the Digital team alongside other marketing functions to implement, measure, analyse, and report on our digital products to meet objectives, and delight and nurture consumers.

What you'll work on

  • Implement the always on publishing and content lifecycle schedules for our digital products (email, website and app), ensuring consistent process, design systems and best practices are applied.
  • Collaborate with Content Studio and cross-functional teams to proactively ideate the always on content plans, brief and oversee the content production process, and provide content performance insights.
  • Plan, build, and execute personalised email campaigns and automated journeys in collaboration with the team and Digital Agency. Manage the database, analyse campaign performance, and recommend improvements.
  • Traffic manage incoming content and publishing requirements across digital products, triage feedback from users and stakeholders, and coordinate tasks with relevant stakeholders.
  • Monitor and report on the performance of our digital products, interpreting customer data and behavioural analytics to identify opportunties for ongoing test-and-learn optimisations.
  • Contribute to the delivery of the digital roadmap, supporting product and platform enhancements and optimisations across digital products, ensuring we meet our goals as a team and Agency.
  • Provide project management and administrative support to ensure collaboration, efficiency, and communication across teams and external agencies to deliver projects on time, within budget, and that hit KPIs.

Who you are

You love all things Digital. You thrive on creating experiences that give customers exactly what they’re looking for at that point in time. You love to create connections across channels that effortlessly invite the customer from touchpoint to touchpoint. You are super savvy on the tools, you’re up to speed with the latest platform updates and are most energised when in implementation mode.

You are motivated, proactive and solutions focused, experienced in juggling multiple projects. You make things happen collaboratively and efficiently with great attention to detail. You’re the person who keeps things moving to meet deadlines and gets the job done.

You have an authentic passion for Tasmania as a brand and destination and are excited to make a difference to our brand, our team, and our industry.
