Job description:
Risk and Resource Management is a multifunctional business unit responsible for managing properties, facilities, and government fleet vehicles across the state. The Property and Assets Officer supports these functions by providing high level administrative and operational support, contributing to the effective management of the department’s owned and leased assets.

Duties
- Provide quality and timely support to the day-to-day management of property, facilities and fleet issues, initiatives, and projects.
- Provide project and operational support, in the areas of developing and maintaining project documentation and operational registers, undertaking research, monitoring, and reporting on the project or issue.
- Assist in the preparation of correspondence and communication documentation including newsletters, memos, meeting papers, business cases, reports, analysis, briefs, and minutes.
- Ensure appropriate records are maintained in accordance with departmental guidelines, utilising information management systems such as Content Manager.
- Contribute to the scoping, administration and procurement of property and facilities related contracts.
- Contribute to the development, implementation and maintenance of relevant guidelines, policies, and procedures.
