Job description:

A fulfilling role delivering critical infrastructure and maintenance to support safe and sustainable access to Tasmania’s parks and reserves.

About the role

As a member of the Major Projects team, the Project Manager will manage the delivery of complex statewide and regional projects and programs within Tasmania’s parks and reserves.

  • A rewarding opportunity to contribute to sustainable visitor access and experiences and management of our extraordinary parks and reserves.
  • Manage projects involving stakeholder consultation, design, development approvals, procurement, contract administration, and construction.

This is a 2-year fixed-term position.

Hours per fortnight

73.50 hours per fortnight (minimum 58.80 hours, by negotiation).

Period of appointment

2 years.

Desirable requirements

  • A qualification relevant to the nature of the work to be undertaken, as provided by either a university, a vocational education organisation or a registered and accredited training provider.
  • A current motor vehicle driver’s licence.
