About us

Treasury is a small (350+) central government agency that provides economic, financial, and policy advice and services to support the Tasmanian Government priorities and improve the wellbeing of the Tasmanian community. Our Revenue Office collects State taxation, administers grants, determines taxation objections and ensures taxpayers meet their state taxation and grant legislation obligations.

We offer flexible work arrangements, job rotation, generous leave provisions (including purchased leave, 18 weeks paid parental leave, gender affirmation, disability, and Aboriginal cultural leave), incremental pay increases, and a supportive culture where you can reach your potential.

We welcome applications from a diverse range of applicants. We want candidates to reach their full potential in interview and recruitment activities. That’s why we make reasonable adjustments to our recruitment process to enable people with disability, illness, and injury to fully participate. Please tell us what supports or adjustments you need to fully participate in the process.
