Hours per fortnight

Duties
- Develop, implement and maintain policies, practices and systems to achieve the goals of the DoJ Asset Management and Strategic Infrastructure Programs.
- Manage and maintain the Department’s asset management information system, ensuring the quality, security and integrity of the data is maintained.
- Provide specialised and authoritative advice and recommendations to the DoJ Executive, Output Managers and relevant governance bodies on matters relating to the maintenance of Departmental sites and the associated infrastructure.
- Identify, manage and monitor risks and issues, maintain relevant registers, and implement appropriate strategies to prevent / mitigate the risks and issues, and evaluate the effectiveness of those strategies.
- Extract and analyse data from the Department’s asset management systems and prepare high-level evidence-based reports and submissions for consideration by Agency Executive, the Major Project Oversight Committee, Asset Management Committee and other internal and external stakeholders.
- Prepare high-level project and procurement documentation, in accordance with the relevant State Government and Departmental policies, procedures and guidelines.
- Establish and maintain cooperative and collaborative relationships with staff, management and other key stakeholders, ensuring the provision of high-quality client-focused services to support achievement of the objectives of the Asset Management and Strategic Infrastructure Programs.
- Coordinate and oversee the delivery of key asset management activities, including the development and prioritisation of programs of work, contract management and delivery of minor works projects.
- The incumbent can expect to be allocated duties, not specifically mentioned in this document, that are within the capacity, qualifications and experience normally expected from persons occupying positions at this classification level.

Desirable Requirements
- Relevant tertiary qualifications.
- Understanding of Prison and Court operations and broader justice system, or ability to quickly acquire such knowledge.
