Hours per fortnight
73.50 hours per fortnight - flexible options available.
Duties
- Develop and review electoral processes and procedures.
- Contribute to the continual improvement of event-based training.
- Undertake special electoral projects.
- Manage local government and parliamentary recounts and conduct by-elections and elector polls.
- Monitor, mentor and support returning officers appointed for Tasmanian parliamentary and local government elections.
- Manage a data entry centre during local government elections.
- Where required, be appointed as returning officer for a Tasmanian parliamentary election.
- Provide assistance with other electoral tasks as required.
