About You
This is a great opportunity for an experienced risk and compliance professional to lead the development, implementation and ongoing improvement of Treasury’s risk management and governance frameworks. Additionally, you will coordinate the delivery of Treasury’s Internal Audit Program and reporting to Treasury’s Audit and Risk Management Committee.
Ideally you will have qualifications related to governance, risk or accounting and several years working in corporate governance or finance.
You will possess strong personal motivation and initiative, combined with a demonstrated ability to deliver on outputs and exercise sound judgement. Your success requires the ability to manage competing tasks, clearly communicate with stakeholders; and work closely with others to contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.

About the Branch
As part of the Corporate and Governance Division, the Project Management and Governance Branch supports Treasury’s strategic objectives by building and improving internal risk and governance structures and capability. The Branch also manages Treasury’s internal audit arrangements, provides legal advisory services to support governance activities and right to information functions, and coordinates the annual corporate planning process.
Hours per fortnight
Up to 73.5 - hours flexible - talk to us about how this could work for you. We are open to considering a range of flexible work options including part-time hours.
Desirable Requirements
Desirable - a relevant qualification or equivalent experience.
