Job description:

The purpose of the role is to facilitate the management, use and development of Crown land (including Reserved Land) and assets by the public and private sector through investigating, evaluating and administering applications for its use. Irregular intrastate travel may be required to fulfill the duties of the position.

About the role

The Property Officer will support the public and private sector in how they manage, utilise and develop Crown land (including Reserved land) and assets by the effective and efficient review, assessment and processing applications for its use.

In this diverse role, you will take on routine property assessments and land management and planning activities for effective and timely delivery of Crown land outcomes. Your work will ensure the Department achieves the Government’s priorities, uphold the principles of Crown land management and address risks on the Crown land estate.

Hours per fortnight

73.50 hours per fortnight (minimum 58.80 hours, by negotiation).

Period of appointment

12 months or until the return of the substantive whichever is earliest. 

Desirable requirements

  • A current motor vehicle driver licence.
