Job description:

The purpose of the role is to implement the Field Centre operation plans, carry out works programs and projects to achieve the conservation and sustainable use of natural and cultural resources.

About the role

The Ranger will help implement the Field Centre operation plans, carry out work programs and projects that support the conservation and sustainable use of natural and cultural resources.

The Ranger will supervise and mentor employees and volunteers, and provide information, advice and assistance to visitors and community members about the use of management of reserved land.

Hours per fortnight

76.0 hours per fortnight (minimum 60.8 hours, by negotiation).

Essential requirements

  • A Workplace Level 2 First Aid Certificate.

Desirable requirements

  • Certificate III in Conservation and Land Management or equivalent qualifications.
