We are looking for someone who is exceptionally organised, highly motivated and experienced to provide executive support to the Secretary, Department of Treasury and Finance.
The position
This position provides professional, highly motivated and proactive executive support to the Secretary of the Department of Treasury and Finance. You will research, plan and anticipate requirements to ensure the Secretary and Executive team are prepared and informed on relevant matters. You will also provide guidance and mentorship to other staff who support Treasury’s Executive team.
You will have exceptional organisational and judgement skills. As the first point of contact for the Secretary, you will have excellent communication and people skills and the ability to engage with a wide range of diverse stakeholders. You will be comfortable working in a high-pressure environment and able to adapt to changing priorities. You will have a proactive approach and a keen eye for detail.
The Salary range for this role is $105 921 to $119 801 pro rata per annum, plus superannuation.

Treasury provides the Government with objective advice on the economic and financial management of the State. We also implement Government policies and programs, and perform analysis, monitoring and reporting functions on behalf of the Government.
The primary responsibilities of the Branch are to provide high level analytical, research and administrative support to the Secretary, Deputy Secretaries and major Departmental Committees and to manage relations between the Department and the Office of the Treasurer, Minister for Finance, Cabinet and Parliament.

Hours per fortnight
Up to 73.5 - hours flexible - talk to us about how this could work for you. We are open to considering a range of flexible work options including part-time hours.
