The Team:
Join the Occupational Therapy Service at the Royal Hobart Hospital, the largest teaching Hospital in Tasmania. The team consists of over 90 team members which includes occupational therapists and assistants, play specialists, diversional therapists, a carpenter, and administration officers.
The Role:
Enhance the capacity and efficiency of Occupational Therapy Services by assisting the Occupational Therapist in undertaking delegated tasks, including retraining in activities of daily living, equipment management and provision, some administrative duties and other therapeutic interventions.
This role is based at the Repatriation Centre Geriatric Evaluation and Management (GEM) wards but will be expected to cover across other areas when required.

Details of appointment:
Permanent full time day worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.
*Notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.
Salary: $67,193 to $72,126 per annum. Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
- Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022.

You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
