The Role:
This fixed-term, casual position offers variety and the chance to make a real difference in healthcare environments. You'll work across our network, ensuring facilities remain safe, functional, and welcoming for patients, visitors, and staff.
What You'll do:
- Be able to undertake minor/nontrade repairs and alterations to building, equipment, fixtures and fittings
- Respond to urgent repair requests across hospital facilities
- Conduct safety inspections and preventive maintenance programs
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to minimise service disruptions
- Support the team with tasks as and when required
What We're Looking For:
- Trade qualification or equivalent experience in maintenance work
- Current Working with Children Check
- Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively
- Excellent communication skills with diverse teams
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and public holidays

Details of appointment:
Fixed term, casual, position working as and when required, commencing as soon as possible for approximately 24 months.
*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.
Salary: $63,110 to $66,049 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
- Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022
