The Inpatient Team
An exciting opportunity exists for an early carer or new graduate to join our inpatient team who work across the Royal Hobart Hospital and Repatriation Centre as well as other various hospital sites. You will work as part of a supportive team of psychologists and as part of a multi-disciplinary team to support patients and patient care during acute and subacute hospital admissions.
Persistent Pain Service
We are also recruiting to an early carer or graduate psychologist position in our Persistent Pain Service. The Persistent Pain Service is a pain specialist multidisciplinary team offering outpatient-based assessment and intervention to assist adults to optimise pain management by identifying and addressing biopsychosocial and cultural factors that impact persistent pain.

You will need:
- Knowledge and experience of contemporary evidence-based psychological practice within a relevant setting which includes assessment and therapeutic interventions.
- Effective interpersonal skills and demonstrated experience in liaising effectively with family and support networks, clinicians and health professionals.
- Effective oral and written communication skills and demonstrated experience in the provision of formal clinical documentation and reports.

Details of appointment:
Multiple Permanent part time, day worker position, working up to 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.
*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.
Salary: $73,834 to $111,364 per annum pro rata. Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
- Salary range is in accordance with Allied Health Professionals Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement No. 2 of 2022
