
The Team:
Working with a team of highly skilled administrative staff and clinicians within the Department of Health (DoH) Tasmania, the Clinical Quality, Regulation and Accreditation (CQRA) Group consolidates the provision of specialist advice to the Secretary and portfolio Ministers on clinical governance, quality improvement, licencing, regulation and accreditation of health facilities, clinical practice and clinical care provision, credentialing of health professionals, approvals of new devices, technologies and interventions, health professional discipline-specific matters and workforce issues.
The Role
- The Policy and Project Officer works under direction of the CQRA Manager Strategy and Reform and will play a key role in coordinating the timely preparation and provision of high-quality briefings and reports regarding CQRA policy, workforce, research, quality improvement, innovation, legislative, regulatory, and project implementation issues.
- Provide project support to the CQRA team through the administration and coordination of several concurrent project activities associated with planning, monitoring, research, quality improvement, and innovation including collation of information and preparation of reports.
- Provide executive and secretariat support to CQRA and State-wide committees, as required.

Details of Appointment
Fixed term, day Worker position working 76 hours per fortnight/as and when required, commencing as soon as possible until
21 September 2026.
Please note that hours may be negotiated with the successful applicant
Classification:
Salary $81,915 - $94,263 per annum (pro rata) + 12% superannuation + access to salary packaging
- Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022.
