
The Team:
The Business Support team for Hospitals South provides high quality financial advice and analysis to senior leaders across Hospitals South and Finance and Business Support. The teams play a crucial role in embedding best practice financial policies and processes into the operations of Hospitals South.
The Role:
The Manager Finance and Business leads the development, and manages the delivery of, business support functions for Hospitals South, working closely with the Chief Executive, Executive Director Operations and Performance, and other senior leaders to ensure they receive high quality financial analysis and advice while ensuring appropriate financial controls and accountability. The role reports to the Director Finance and Procurement and is embedded in the Finance and Business Support team, playing a role in ensuring the consistent application of financial policies and procedures across the Agency.
You will need to have:
- Strong communications skills with the ability to work through technical financial issues with a wide variety of stakeholders
- A solid understanding of Government financial policies and processes and the ability to apply your knowledge to operational issues in the scope of health service delivery
- Strong leadership skills to develop the Business Support team and ensure the provision of consistent, high quality financial analysis and advice across the Hospitals South portfolio.

Details of appointment:
Permanent, day worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.
*Notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.
Salary: $139,470 to $148,863 per annum. Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
- Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022.

Eligibility:

- Tertiary qualifications in a business/management or related field
