
The Team:
The team is located at the Cambridge Production Centre. Work as a member of a dynamic team at the production centre working in ware wash, tray line, production and stores.
The Role:
As part of the production team, you will;
- Assist with the safe production of food items for the patients at the RHH and various THS sites.
- Perform receipt and storage duties associated with food supplies in line with food safety guidelines.
- Perform general food preparation and cleaning related duties.
You will need:
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in food preparation and production, cook-chill procedures and working within a large organisation.
- Understanding of general food handling and food hygiene regulations and proven ability to maintain all work areas and equipment in a hygienic state, including maintaining a high standard of personal hygiene and appearance in accordance with food services policies.
- Good communication skills with a proven ability to understand both written and verbal instructions and cooperate effectively with patients, visitors, and staff.

Details of appointment:
Fixed term, casual, position working as and when required, commencing as soon as possible for a 12-month period.
*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.
Salary: $57,130 to $62,486 per annum pro rata. Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
Plus 25% Casual Loading - Equivalent of $36.00 to $39.37 per hour.
- Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022.
