The Northern Cancer Service is looking to appoint to a casual Radiation Therapist position. This position will be fixed term, working as and when required at our Radiation Therapy departments in both Launceston and Burnie.

We provide the Statewide Brachytherapy service, External Beam Radiotherapy, seamless Varian planning to treatment and we use Truebeam Linacs.

Primary Purpose:
Carry out planning and treatment of patients with x-rays, electrons or radiation from sealed sources as prescribed by a Radiation Oncologist.
Associated duties include patient care, general and technical administration.

Details of appointment:
Fixed term, casual, position working as and when required, commencing as soon as possible for approximately 12 months, at our Radiation Therapy departments in both Launceston and Burnie.

Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar casual vacancies.
Salary: $85,011 to $127,700 per annum, Pro Rata. Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
- Salary range is in accordance with Agreement (Radiation Therapists Agreement 2022).

You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.

In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:

- A market allowance of 10% of the base salary is applicable to this role.
