The Medicines Supply Team at the North West Regional Hosptial and Mersey Community Hospital plays a vital role in ensuring the safe, timely, and efficient distribution of medications.

The Medicines Supply Team at the North West Regional Hosptial and Mersey Community Hospital plays a vital role in ensuring the safe, timely, and efficient distribution of medications.

The Role:

The Manager - Medicines Supply:

  • Manages all aspects of operations of the Pharmacy Store at the site, including purchasing, warehousing, distribution, and payment.
  • Is responsible for ensuring that the medicines supply chain meets the needs of the site in terms of timeliness, cost effectiveness, and safety.
  • Oversees a team of staff undertaking Medicines Supply duties.
  • Liaises with suppliers, end users (wards/clinicians) and the Department of Health (DoH).
  • Is a member of the senior leadership team supporting the NW Pharmacy Operations 
  • Works with other Medicines Supply staff across the State to promote a more effective use of statewide resources and to foster pricing effectiveness.
  • Implements and supports the directions and policy of the Pharmacy Operations & Logistics Manager - SHP

Details of appointment:

Permanent full time, day worker (with on-call), working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.

*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.

Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.

Salary: $98,255 to $103,069 per annum. Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

  • Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022
