
The Team:
- This two-person team within the Office of the Chief Executive Hospitals South is responsible for management and direction in redevelopment and accommodation planning within Hospitals South. This team ensures there is careful management of space allocation and unit transfers to optimise the use of space and minimise disruption to consumers, staff and services. The team is also focussed on increasing utilisation of existing spaces to reduce leased accommodation where possible.
- In collaboration with Infrastructure Services, the Hospitals South team identify, define and develop solutions to complex issues affecting the RHH Redevelopment, including facilitating the resolution of direct and indirect operational issues that result from the construction, completion, and commissioning of various RHH Redevelopment Projects, and the associated decanting and relocations required to ensure ongoing services.
The Role:
- Provides space planning expertise to administrators, committees, and departments by analysing requests for space and space utilisation, maintaining space database, and preparing space reports.
- Coordinate the development of plans, local standards, policies and protocols that guide the efficient and effective allocation and use of space in line with national, state and Agency plans and policies.
- Ensure oversight and analysis of Hospitals South campuses occupancy patterns to support decision making.
- Liaise with Hospitals South service areas and Infrastructure Services in the planning and execution of internal moves and office relocations.
You will need:
- Experience providing support and coordination in property, workplace and accommodation management, commercial real estate or facilities management environment.
- Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills for engaging effectively with a wide range of stakeholders in a diverse, and complex institution; team and relationship building skills; listening skills; negotiation skills; strong written, oral and presentation communication skills.
- Highly developed strategic, conceptual, analytical and creative skills, including the capacity to research and investigate sensitive and complex matters and provide authoritative advice and recommendation

Details of appointment:
Fixed term full time, day worker, working 76 hours per fortnight, Commencing as soon as possible until 31 October 2025.
*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.
Salary: $107,899 to $122,292 per annum . Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
- Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022
