
The Team:
The SOE (Standard Operating Environment) team within the Department of Health Tasmania is responsible for the management and support of the digital workplace environment across the organisation. This includes overseeing Microsoft 365 services, maintaining and deploying the Standard Operating Environment across all devices, managing cloud-based infrastructure and services, and administering mobile device management solutions to ensure secure, consistent, and efficient access to digital resources for all staff. The Role:

Manage and support Microsoft 365 services across the organisation

Maintain and deploy the Standard Operating Environment (SOE) for end-user devices

Oversee cloud infrastructure and services to support secure and scalable operations

Administer mobile device management (MDM) to ensure secure access to corporate resources

Ensure consistency, security, and efficiency across the digital workplace environment
You will need:
- Capacity to deliver technology-based solutions, excellent customer service and accurate technical support within a high paced and complex work environment.
- Demonstrated ability to lead a small team, and the capacity to foster understanding and learning.
- Well-developed listening, speaking and written communication skills including the capacity to provide clear advice and technical instructions to a broad range of stakeholders and customer.

Details of appointment:
Fixed term full time, day worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible for a period up to twelve (12) months.
*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.
Salary: $107,899 to $122,292 per annum. Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
- Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022
