Job description:

Supervise and coordinate activities of the Home Care Service (HCS) within a primary health care context and under the guidelines of the Community Home Care Service Program (CHSP) and the Tasmanian Home and Community Care Program (HACC).

The Role:

  • Within a primary health care context and under the guidelines of the Community Home Care Service Program (CHSP) and the Tasmanian Home and Community Care Program (HACC), supervise and coordinate activities of the Home Care Service (HCS).
  • Provide effective and efficient supervision of human and physical resources of the HCS.
  • supportive on the job training 
  • Work with a diverse team within the community setting
  • Permanent role

Details of appointment:

Permanent, full time, day worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing from the 4 May 2025.

*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.

Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.

Salary: $73,811 to $79,779 per annum. Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

  • Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022

Salary Packaging:

You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.

  • Relevant qualification in administration and community services or preparedness to undertake study in appropriate course
