The Team:
The Statewide Operational Planning Unit (SOPU) was established in late-2023 with a primary focus of supporting operational business units as a centralised platform. With core functions including roster maintenance, recruitment, leave planning and establishment management, the SOPU will deliver statewide oversight and consistency for all strategies ensuring efficiency and alignment with operational needs
The Role:
Provide quality 7- day rostering services and business support to the unit manager, including liaising with frontline staff, managers and relevant industrial representatives.
Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with Managers and other senior staff to ensure the provision of high quality, effective services relating to rosters and reporting.
You will need to
- Contribute to the preparation and maintenance of rosters for the Operational business units, including entering leave data and, staff absences
- Assist in ensuring roster projections are in line with Ambulance Tasmania Award rostering provisions.
- Provide assistance to Operational business units by supporting tasks such as rostering, updating establishments, and assisting with recruitment as required.
Details of appointment: General Stream, Band 3
Permanent full time, shift worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.
*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.
Salary: $73,811 to $79,779 per annum. Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
- Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022.
