You can be a Dental/Oral Health Therapist anywhere in Australia. What’s different about Tasmania is our culture and our lifestyle. Our isolation helps drive a culture of invention and human connection, which feels both old fashioned and… like the only future worth pursuing. Here you’ll be spoilt for choice when it comes to breath-taking coastlines, National Parks or award-winning restaurants or bars – all right on your doorstep. After a hard day at work, you don’t have to sit in a car for an hour. You can get on your bike or put on your boots and explore all that Tasmania has to offer.

There are approx. 100 of us in the Northwest and 150 in the Northern region, an eclectic mix of locals and new Tasmanian adventurers. We are dental professionals, technicians and assistants, customer service and administration officers, coming together to improve the lives and livelihoods of our community. Here, you are encouraged to be your authentic self, to pursue your passions, and to bring your clinical and world knowledge to the table to contribute to making our team one that punches above its weight with progressive and impactful care.

A successful and suitable applicant will work one to one with a Dental Assistants in either a multidisciplinary centre or a community-based clinic.  There will be opportunities to participate in our preventive outreach programs. Travel and engagement in rural and remote community around Tasmania, partnering with early years learning programs across State. We will provide opportunities for a varied working week supported by a tight-knit broader team.

We are small enough in Tasmania for you to shape and influence your work and make a real impact every day. Yet we are big enough for you to feel part of something important, somewhere you can belong and be surrounded by diversity, innovation, and friendships. We’ll look after you from the very beginning, ensure you are fully inducted and welcomed into our team and into our culture. We’ll tell you where to go for dinner, and on your days off.
