The Role:
As a member of Payroll Services, undertake a quality improvement/data checking function for payroll staff to achieve a client-focussed delivery of payroll services. Foster the acceptance of managers, employees and other stakeholders regarding the practices and processes required to achieve quality service delivery outcomes.
in the role of Payroll Team Leader, you will:
- Lead and support the performance of a team and individual staff. Provide feedback to individuals and/or Managers and report against established standards and benchmarks.
- Responsible for providing support and advice to Pay/Personnel Officers (PPO) including:
- Undertaking data checking.
- Monitoring reports processed by PPO.
- Provide advice and training regarding pay processes.
- Provide advice to PPO in relation to legislative requirements.
- Use expertise to advise on alternative approaches to achieve quality service delivery outcomes in a diverse and complex environment.
- Undertake quality improvement activities, including developing standards, communication, applying guidelines and processes to ensure conformity with specified outcomes.
- Foster the support of managers, employees and other stakeholders to achieve quality service delivery outcomes and assist in developing alternative approaches to resolve operational Pay/Personnel problems.
Details of appointment:
Permanent, full time, day worker position, working up to 76 hours per fortnight commencing ASAP
*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.

Salary: $79,529 to $91,517 per annum. Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
- Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022
