The Role:
Assist in the cleaning of allocated areas in compliance with Australian Safety and Quality Health Care Standards (ASQHCS), Agency policies and other established standards and protocols.
Carry out and assist in food preparation and cleaning within the kitchen area, maintaining a high standard of hygiene in compliance with ASQHCS, Agency policies and other established standards and protocols.
- Day to day direction and supervision provided by the Hotel Services Coordinator.
- Maintain cleaning techniques and associated machinery, disinfectants and detergents to comply with established hospital standards.
- Contribute towards a safe working environment, attend training sessions as directed, and apply correct lifting techniques.
- Report unsafe practices that may endanger patients, staff and visitors of the hospital.
- Required to maintain a high standard of hygiene, both personal and environmental.

Details of appointment:
Fixed term, casual, position working as and when required, commencing as soon as possible for approximately twenty-four (24) months.
*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.
Salary: $58,184 to $59,580 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
- Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022
