Job description:

Join our team to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team in both the emergency department and sub-acute in-patient ward and aged care to provide high quality patient care to a variety of patients with varying medical requirements

The Role:

Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team in both the emergency department and sub-acute in-patient ward and aged care to provide high quality patient care to a variety of patients with varying medical requirements in line with NHSQS and AGED CARE standards.

It would be preferable that the successful applicant has:

  • Ability to work independently as part of the multi-disciplinary team
  • Previous emergency experience including triage and cannulation competency 
  • Willingness to learn new skills, take on challenges and help foster a positive work culture.

Campbell Town Multi-Purpose Service:

  • Multipurpose facility with 24 hour emergency care, 6 sub-acute beds, 20 residential beds, Community Nursing, palliative care, same day infusion clinic.

Details of appointments:

Fixed term part time, shift worker (fully rotational) position, working up to 56 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible until 4 August 2025. 

Fixed term part time, shift worker (fully rotational) position, working up to 68 hours per fortnight, commencing from 4 February 2024 until 4 February 2026. 

*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.

Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.

Salary: $75,902 to $102,908 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

  • Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmanian State Service) Agreement 2023 and Nurses and Midwives (Tasmanian State Service) Interim Agreement 2013

Allowances: 

You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.

  • Access to the Grade 4 salary range $96,558 - $102,908 is subject to successful application for progression to Grade 4

In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:

  • Post Graduate Allowance of up to 10 % based on qualification type
  • Remote and Rural Professional Development Allowance of an additional salary allowance of 4%

Eligibility:

Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria.

  • Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse

    *Registration/licences that are essential requirements of this role must remain current and valid at all times whilst employed in this role and the status of these may be checked at any time during employment. It is the employee’s responsibility to ensure that registration/licences remain current and to advise the Employer if their circumstances change. This includes notifying the Employer if a registration/licence is revoked, cancelled or has its conditions altered.
