The Role:
- Initially supported and trained by our current Stomal Therapist CNC - we can provide training on the job (if not already certified)!
- Functions as a clinical practitioner within Stomal Therapy and wound care services providing direct care, advisory, support and educational services within the Northwest Regional Hospital (NWRH) and the Mersey Community Hospital (MCH), and as required, to external health care providers.
- The role will provide expert clinical advice and clinical leadership in ostomy management, stomal therapy and wound care.

- You will be a part of a multidisciplinary team providing exemplary care.
- You will be well supported throughout your training journey (if not already certified)

Details of appointment:
Permanent, part time, day worker position, working 40 hours per fortnight, commencing from 25 November 2024.
Note: The position has an increase of additional fixed term, day worker hours at 24 hours per fortnight available until August 2025.
*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.

Salary: $111,506 to $118,336 per annum pro rata. Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
- Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmanian State Service) Award.
Allowances:
You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
