The Role:
As an effective member of the multidisciplinary team, the Senior Dietitian will:
- Provide a consumer-focused and high quality clinical dietetic service to referred clients within the Joint Assessment and Triage Service (JATS). The service may include individual appointments as well as group programs.
- Contribute to the efficient and effective functioning of the Nutrition and Dietetic Service, including tasks delegated by the Discipline Lead, Nutrition and Dietetics
- Contribute to the development and implementation of activities that promote positive outcomes associated with the strategic directions and health plans of the organisation

The Nutrition & Dietetics team:
- We are a diverse, enthusiastic and supportive team of 20 dietitians
- As well as caring for our clients and each other, we are focused on quality improvement and professional development
- The Joint Assessment and Triage Service provides services to those clients on the orthopaedic surgery waiting list who may benefit from allied health interventions.

Details of appointment:
Permanent part time, day worker position, working up to 23 hours per fortnight, from as soon as we can onboard you.
*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.
Salary: $106,966 to $123,013 pro rata per annum. Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
- Salary range is in accordance with Allied Health Professionals Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022.
Allowances:
You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
- Please note that access to salaries beyond $115,573 is subject to qualifications and/or application to the personal upgrade scheme
In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:
- Professional Development Allowance of up to $1000 per annum

Eligibility:
Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria.

Tertiary qualification/program of study accredited by Dietitians Australia or overseas qualified dietitians will be required to complete Dietetic Skills Recognition (DSR) through Dietitians Australia.

Eligible for full membership with the Dietitians Australia. Eligible to join the Accredited Practising Dietitian Program.
