The Role:
To ensure the provision of an efficient and effective support service to a broad range of clinical units across the Royal Hobart Hospital (RHH) the Medical Orderly Services Coordinator is responsible for the daily operation of the Medical Orderlies section.
- Provide leadership and direction in the day-to-day coordination of medical orderly services across all areas of the RHH including Radiology and Emergency Departments.
- Allocate and monitor the use of resources and, in consultation with the Manager, develop and maintain strategies to meet cost centre budget objectives.

Details of appointment:
Permanent full time, day worker position, working up to 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.
*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.
Salary: $79,529 to $91,517 per annum. Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
- Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022.
