The Role:
In accordance with Hospital policies, guidelines and food safety legislation the occupant prepares and produces meals for all clients and assists with cleaning of the facility and its equipment.
- Demonstrated understanding of special dietary requirements including therapeutic diet procedures.
- Practical knowledge and understanding of Work Health and Safety legislation and codes of practice.

The Team:
The team is located at the Cambridge Production Centre working with a team of cooks and food service officers, preparing and cooking food for Royal Hobart Hospital patients, visitors and clients.
Details of appointment:
Multiple Permanent, full time, day worker (not working weekends, but working public holidays) position, working up to 76 hours per fortnight commencing as soon as possible.
*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.
Salary: $71,661 to $77,455 per annum. Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
- Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022
