The Role:
In accordance with established policies and guidelines, the TasEquip – Customer Service Officer is responsible for the effective and efficient operation of the TasEquip Warehouse facility by:
- Undertaking daily warehousing activities efficiently and effectively including, but not limited to, the appropriate receipting, labelling, issuing, delivery, collection, cleaning and storage of assets.
- Providing high quality customer service information and assistance to TasEquip clients and prescribers to ensure efficient and effective ordering and return processes, and eligible clients receive appropriate asset and repair services in a timely manner.
- Keeping appropriate records on all relevant databases.
TasEquip provides an essential service to eligible Tasmanians that provides loan equipment to keep people safe at home. We are looking for a team member who is versatile, willing and able to undertake the full range of equipment handling, office administration duties and provide excellent customer service. The workload is varied and mixed, and capacity to undertake deliveries is an advantage.

The Team:
The TasEquip team is a small and versatile group of people that work together and support each other to provide the best possible service. Based at the Mersey Community Hospital in historic Latrobe, we service the beautiful NW region of Tasmania.
Details of appointment:
Multiple part time, shift worker position, working up to 38 hours per fortnight hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible for a period of approximately eight (8) months.
*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.
Salary: $64,125 - $68,925 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
- Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022
