The Role:
- provide specialist input, strategic direction, and leadership to projects undertaken by the Aged Care Reform Unit
- provide high-level project management and support, guidance, and advice to the Aged Care Reform Unit
- prepare a range of high-level written material, including high level reports, submissions, briefings and ministerial correspondence, project plans, policy and procedures
- demonstrate a high level of initiative in identifying issues and initiating appropriate action

The Team:
In January 2023, the Aged Care Reform Unit (ACRU) was launched to develop and implement a statewide framework for integrating delivering and monitoring programs of work aimed at improving access and flow for older patients/residents between hospitals and Residential Aged Care Facilities (RACF) to support better patient outcomes and health system benefits.
Details of appointment:
Fixed term, full time, day worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible for a period of approximately fifteen (15) months.
*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.
Salary: $135,408 to $144,527 per annum. Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
- Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022

You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
