The Registered Nurse:

About the Role and Team
The North West Regional Hospital has an exciting opportunity for Registered Nurses and dual qualified Midwives to join the permanent pool.
This is a permanent position working across a wide range of general and specialty areas including Surgical, Medical and Paediatrics.
The permanent pool will allow you to gain experience and progress in roles working across various areas, with the opportunity to treat a diverse range of patients in challenging and rewarding environments.
You will gain skills across multiple areas and will quickly gather confidence in your ability to provide care in any setting.
Working in the permanent pool provides you with the job security of a permanent position and the flexibility of not being limited to experiencing one area or one type of nursing.

Details of Appointment
*Multiple, full time or part time permanent positions available working as a shift-worker, up to 76 hours per fortnight commencing as soon as possible
*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant
- Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time and casual vacancies.
Salary: $75,902 to $102,908 pro rata per annum + 11.5% superannuation + access to salary packaging
You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
- Salary range is in accordance with the Nurses and Midwives (Tasmanian State Service) Agreement 2023
- Access to the Grade 4 salary range $96,558 to $102,908 is subject to successful application for progression to Grade 4
In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:
- Post Graduate Allowance of up to 7.5% based on qualification type

- Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse
