Job description:

Seeking a Registered Nurse - Ward 3R -Rehabilitation who will strengthen health outcomes through the provision of safe quality, clinically appropriate nursing care.

The Role requires you to:

  • Initiate, implement and evaluate quality nursing care to acute rehabilitation patients
  • Work effectively within a multidisciplinary team, contributing to a strong team approach through open communication and a positive supportive approach
  • Actively participate in and contribute to the organisation’s Quality & Safety and Work Health & Safety processes

Ward 3R is an Acute Rehabilitation unit where you will have the opportunity to:

  • Work within a strong multidisciplinary team;
  • Manage and care for a variety of Acute Rehabilitation and General Medical patients; and
  • Be supported to further develop your knowledge and skills of rehabilitation nursing.

Details of appointment:

Permanent part time, shift worker (fully rotational) position, working 24 hours per fortnight, commencing from as soon as possible.

*notwithstanding, hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.

Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.

Salary: $75,902 to $102,908 pro rata per annum. Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

  • Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmanian State Service) Agreement 2023

Allowances: 

You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible. 

  • Access to the Grade 4 salary range $96,558 - $102,908 is subject to successful application for progression to Grade 4

Eligibility: Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria.

    • Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse.
