We are a close-knit group of 8 in our Podiatry team.  Based in the Devonport region, we provide services to the North-West coast of Tasmania, one of the most naturally beautiful parts of the world.  Many of our group have achieved Endorsement for Scheduled Medicines while working with us and we can support you to do the same. We are continuously growing, developing new services and re-designing old ones. It’s an exciting and rewarding place to work, featuring contemporary, evidence-informed practise including the use of F-Scan plantar pressure mapping.

Your role will see you provide outpatient and community outreach services with a focus on high-risk foot conditions and acute foot problems and you will be closely linked to the multidisciplinary team. We’ll look after you from the very beginning, ensure you are fully inducted and welcomed into our team and into our culture. Your fellow Allied Health colleagues, as well as the Nursing, Endocrinology, Infectious Disease, Vascular and Hyperbaric specialists will rely on you thriving in your work and will be invested in making this a reality. Details of Appointment

Fixed term, full time, day worker position working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing from 1 July 2024 until 31 December 2024 

  • Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time and part time vacancies.

Salary: $106,966 - $123,013, per annum + 11% superannuation 

You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.

  • Please note that access to salaries beyond $118,114 is subject to qualifications and/or application to the personal upgrade scheme 
  • Salary range is in accordance with the Allied Health Professionals Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022

Eligibility

Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria:

  1. Tertiary qualification/program of study approved by the Podiatry Board of Australia
  2. Registered with the Podiatry Board of Australia
  3. Current Working with Children Registration

*Registration/licences that are essential requirements of this role must remain current and valid at all times whilst employed in this role and the status of these may be checked at any time during employment. It is the employee’s responsibility to ensure that registration/licences remain current and to advise the Employer if their circumstances change. This includes notifying the Employer if a registration/licence is revoked, cancelled or has its conditions altered.
