Job description:

Join the Launceston Community Nursing Team as a Clinical Nurse Consultant - Continence in an advanced clinical practice role with responsibility for coordinating the delivery of Continence Services across a broad community practice setting. The role will monitor the team’s clinical load, allocate staffing resources in accordance with clinical practice experience and service priorities and provide clinical expertise in the management of more complex cases.

The role:

  • This is an advanced clinical practice role with responsibility for coordinating the delivery of Continence Services across a broad community practice setting. The role will monitor the team’s clinical load, allocate staffing resources in accordance with clinical practice experience and service priorities and provide clinical expertise in the management of more complex cases.
  • Support an integrated approach to service delivery by developing effective links with other public and community based health service providers and promote community awareness in relation to continence services.
  • Work collaboratively with the Nurse Unit Manager - Community Specialist Nursing Services in the evaluation, planning and development of continence services for the northern region of Tasmania and in the operational functioning of the service.

Details of Appointment

Permanent, part time, day worker position working 40 hours per fortnight, commencing from as soon as possible.

*notwithstanding hours may be negotiated with the successful applicant

Salary: $111,506 - $118,226 pro rata per annum. Our Employer 11% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible. 

  • Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmanian State Service) Agreement 2023 and Nurses and Midwives (Tasmanian State Service) Interim Agreement 2013

Eligibility:

Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria:

  1. Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse

  2. Current Driver’s Licence

*Registration/licences that are essential requirements of this role must remain current and valid at all times whilst employed in this role and the status of these may be checked at any time during employment. It is the employee’s responsibility to ensure that registration/licences remain current and to advise the Employer if their circumstances change. This includes notifying the Employer if a registration/licence is revoked, cancelled or has its conditions altered.
