Job description:

We are seeking an Administration Assistant to provide high level clerical support to the Aged Care Assessment Team (ACAT) Service Manager and clinical staff

 

The role:

Provide a high-level and broad range of administrative and clerical support to the Aged Care Assessment Team (ACAT) Service Manager and clinical staff.  Provide a courteous and confidential telephone reception and general information service to individuals, key stakeholders, health workers and the wider community regarding My Aged Care functions and the delivery of Commonwealth funded services.

Details of Appointment

Fixed term, part time, day worker position working 38 hours per fortnight, commencing from as soon as possible until 30 June 2025

*notwithstanding hours may be negotiated with the successful applicant

Salary: $64,125 - $68,925 pro rata per annum. Our Employer 11% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible. 

  • Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022

Eligibility:

  1. Comprehensive knowledge of aged care and community services or have the research skills and ability to quickly acquire same

The Head of the State Service has determined that the person nominated for this job is to satisfy a pre‑employment check before taking up the appointment, on promotion or transfer. The following checks are to be conducted:

  2. sex related offences
  3. serious drug offences
  4. crimes involving dishonesty
