The Role

Provide high level support and advice associated with the business and administrative functions of Women’s & Children’s Services (WACS) covering a broad range of areas, including planning, finance, human resources, purchasing, asset management and project work to contribute to the effective and efficient provision of services.

Provide leadership and supervision of administrative staff and encourage a positive and productive work environment.

You will need

  • Work under the broad direction of the WACS Co–Directors to provide WACS with high level administrative and secretariat support.
  • Support the development and monitoring of WACS business plans, projects and strategic priorities.
  • Provide leadership and supervision of administrative staff including performance management that will ensure duties are completed accurately and efficiently within agreed timeframes and resources.

Details of appointment

Permanent, part time, day worker position, working 68.4 hours (9 days) per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.

*Notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.

Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.

Salary

$102,027 to $106,985 pro rata per annum + our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

  • Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2025
